Improved radio performance
With improved receiver, more powerful transmitter and increased functionaltity the MTP6650 is the result of evolution, not revolution.
The new terminal in Motorolas best-in-class MTP6000-series is enhanced in almost every way but not really changed. With optimisations and improvements Motorola offers a terminal with even better performance and more features but with the same size, shape and user interface as before as well as support for current accessories.
For lone workers the radio can be a lifeline, so it is critical that it works when needed. The improved receiver in the MTP6000 series extends the operational range while the unhindered speaker penetrates any ambient noise. Along with digital noise cancelling the radios provide clear audio, regardless of environment.
For mission-critical applications cool features mean nothing without reliability. Therefore the MTP6000 series not only meet all requirements in the MIL-SPEC, but exceed them. The terminals are also completely waterproof (IP65, 66, 67 & 68), securing communications even under rough circumstances.
Good decisions require good input. The MTP6000 series equipped with features allowing organisations to share information more quickly. Being the first portable TETRA supporting TEDS, in can provide higher transfer rates and data can be shared faster in the network. With the built-in Bluetooth technology user can also share images directly between terminals in the field.
To take advantage of the increase amount of data the terminals have been equipped with MicroSD card slot as well as a high resolution display.
But improvements has not been made solely on the radio. Motorola now come with solutions aimed to further enhance data sharing. Through a network of connected chargers critical information can be synchronized every time radios are a placed in the charger. This can include images of missing persons or most wanted criminals, etc. Likewise, information gathered during a shift can be uploaded to a server without intervention.
The solution also uses the same infrastructure as Motorola’s remote programming solution iTM.
