The accessible volume control, highly visible display and four programmable hotkeys assures easy use. As a part of the DM4000 series it still delivers best-in-class performance and access to all digital features provided by MOTOTRBO™. If the simplified interface is too limiting users can connect a key pad microphone to increase flexibility.
The models in the DM4000 series are the most sophisticated mobile two-way radios in the MOTOTRBO™ range and some of the most advanced on the market. The radios provide the best and most features available in a Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) while also supporting analogue communications.
The active noise cancelling efficiently eliminates sounds from machines, vehicles or weather. The remaining voice is played through a powerful front-facing speaker, resulting in crisp and clear audio. Together with the Intelligent Audio feature this minimizes the risk for missed calls.
MOTOTRBO™ has the largest ecosystem of third-party developers and hundreds of applications for different uses. Applications for computer aided dispatching, positioning (inside and outside), job ticketing, task management, email, etc.
The DM4000 series also provide the tools needed to utilize these applications with features like GPS and Bluetooth. The Bluetooth module supports both data and audio accessories simultaneously, meaning that accessories like ticket printers, bar code scanners and RFID-readers can be connected.
Innovative features make no difference if the radio does not work when needed. And an unreliable radio does not provide security for users in the field. That is why Motorola test their equipment in labs and not on their customers. The DM4000 series meets or exceeds all categories in both MIL-STD and Motorola ALT™ and ingress protected to IP54.
MOTOTRBO™ is a complete range of two-way radio equipment based on the international standard DMR, Digital Mobile Radio. Almost all models can be used in both digital and analogue modes. MOTOTRBO™ is also the world’s most popular series of products for digital two-way radio communications, with millions of users globally.
The digital technology powering MOTOTRBO™ provides noticeably better performance, like improved battery life, increased capacity and best-in-class audio thanks to active noise cancelling. The IP-based architecture also provides support for productivity enhancing applications like control room solutions, positioning services, telemetry, etc.
By being backwards compatible, MOTOTRBO™ infrastructure allows the use of both analogue and digital devices simultaneously which enables analogue users to upgrade their equipment in their own pace.
