About Motorola GP340Ex
The blue color is synonymous with ATEX equipment. The appearance ensures that only approved equipment is used in hazardous environments. The radio is for instance equipped with a specially designed battery mount to ensure that only approved batteries are use with the radio. The accessory connector is also equipped with tamper protection to verify that only certified accessories are used.
Naturally the radio also meet Motorola’s requirements for quality meeting both the specifications in MIL-STD and Motorola ALT™.
