We take what we call complete responsibility (Totalansvar) which is a process-oriented approach that in practice means that we provide all the service and support that you specifically need, all the way from design and development to delivery, installation and optimisation.

Celab Communications AB was founded in 1978 just outside of Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden. Since then we have grown steadily and today we are 50+ employees divided between our headquarters in Kungälv and full-service facility in Stockholm.

Since 2015 we are also represented in Copenhagen, where we now are going to apply what has made us successful in Sweden. Our vision is to become a leading provider of mission-critical communications in Denmark as well, through market-leading quality, service and support.

We always develop our solutions on the most suitable equipment from world leading manufacturers. We work closely with some of the most well-known brands within two-way radio. For instance we represent Motorola Solutions in Sweden and Denmark including Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

 

Decades of mission-critical communications

 

1978

Celab Communications AB is founded in Kungälv by Bo och Lisbeth Sernvik.

1981

The company ComRadioService in Uddevalla is aquired.

1983

Move to new premises to accommodate the growing business.

1987

Storno Sweden's Gothenburg-branch is acquired.

1991

The new headquarters in Kungälv is opened.

1995

Our first product developed in-house is released under the trademark Celia.

1997

Motorola's system integration department is acquired.

2000

The subsidiary Celab Data is established.

2003

Delivery of our very first complete TETRA-system.

2005

The first framework agreement for delivery to RAKEL is signed.

2007

Turnover exceeds one hundred million (kr) for the first time.

2008

New agreement for RAKEL is signed, this time with MSB.

2011

BSAB in Stockholm is acquired and the number of emplooyees exceeds fifty.

2012

Our largest contract ever is signed with the Swedish Defence.

2014

Celab are nominated for DI Gasell, as one of the fastest growing companies in Sweden.

2015

Celab expands to Denmark, including Greenland and Faroe Islands.
