Two-way TETRA pager from Motorola Solutions

Announcement Published 2016-11-29

The new Motorola Advisor TPG2200 ensures that fire fighters, paramedics or other officials on call always are reachable.

The device is equipped with the same receiver as Motorola latest TETRA terminals which maximises the reach of TPG2200. The unit is also equipped with a 1,8W transmitter, which ensures that confirmations also get through. The powerful speaker, bright LED indicators and built-in vibrator clearly alert the user of incoming messages. The associated desktop cradle also has integrated LEDs, external antenna and even an external relay connector, to further ensure that the user responds.

The pager has a USB-C connector for programming and charging as well as an integrated GPS-module that provides expanded opportunities for resources monitoring and management from control rooms.

The Advisor supports Call Out, the standard protocol for emergency management in TETRA. Call Out provides detailed information directly on the two-inch screen but, the feature also prompts the user to respond with the intuitive interface. Users can also log in using different user profiles that “automatically” can direct which messages that should be received.

Despite the small size and light weight, the Motorola Advisor offers up to 48h of battery life as well as IP54 ingress protection. Just like all professional equipment from Motorola Solutions the TPG2200 also meet or exceed the requirements of MIL-STD and their own quality assurance program ALT™.
