Motorola LEX L11
Next generation mission-critical smartphone
LEX L11 is developed with operations in mind and is the result of Motorola Solutions long-standing focus on first responders.
The goal has been to deliver a device that lets hardware, software and accessories act in unity to provide optimum support during incidents. For instance, it has been developed to maximise use of POC applications like Motorola WAVE and Kodiak with its tactile Push-to-talk button, emergency button and talk group switch. With its advanced digital audio processing, powerful speakers and howling suppression it can therefore be used as a virtual two-way radio on ready available networks ¹ or be used to remotely control Bluetooth-enabled radios.
The device offers a finger-print reader, E2E encryption and mobile VPN that protect both content and transmissions to maximise information security. At the same time LEX L11 is an Android-based smartphone with all the possibilities that implies. Amongst other things it provides dual cameras, Google Play Store, multi-band support, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, NFC, dual SIM support, memory card, etc.
Naturally the format has been designed and developed for the purpose. Thanks to the waterproof and rugged exoskeleton with rubberised edges and a Gorilla Glass display the phone meets or exceeds the requirements in MIL-STD.
¹ Requires app and/or server applications like Motorola WAVE eller Kodiak.
