The radio has an extremely rugged design for increased reliability in demanding situations. MTP850Ex also delivers excellent audibility in environments where the intended users operate. The terminals can be used in environments containing potentially explosive gas and dust, including dust zones 21 and 22.
User Safety
The terminal is equipped with an integrated GPS to enable positioning. It also has a Man Down sensor that automatically initiates emergency calls if the user (radio) remains motionless for pre-defined period.
Simple but powerful interface
The enlarged button on the limited key pad simplifies operation of the terminal even with gloves. Combined with the clear font and icons the radio can be used even when visibility is reduced.
