About Motorola SLR1000
The Motorola SLR1000 is passively cooled, saving energy and weight and enabling the IP65 ingress protection. classification that means that the repeater is completely weatherproof and can be installed basically anywhere, outdoors and indoors. The low weight (<5kg) and compact size allows the unit to be mounted directly on poles, walls, etc.
Despite its limited size, the SLR1000 is as competent in other respects as other Motorola DMR repeaters. The SLR1000 offers 100% continuous operation and supports all MOTOTRBO systems like IP Site Connect and Capacity Plus. The power output may seem low at first glance but it is perfect for eliminating dead zones in, for instance parking garages. Frankly it is probably enough to achieve sufficient coverage in a lot of environments, entirely on its own.
