The VX-4000 series
The models are equipped with enhanced features and radio characteristics for increased flexibility and safety.
Improved audio features
The VX-4000 series has multilingual audible confirmations that clearly announces the current channel. User can even record the own confirmation to further simplify navigation.
Both models also support VOX for hands-free operation. In noisy environments the Clear Voice feature can optimise the transmission to guarantee audibility. And to ensure that the volume does not drop to far the minimum volume can be set.
Whisper Mode is also available natively, a feature that increases microphone sensitivity to allow the user to communicate discreetly.
Enhanced radio performance
To fit more organisations the VX-4000 series is equipped with a range of features for selective signalling. Features like 2 tone, 5 tone, CTCSS and DCS signalling provide a lot of possibilities to direct your calls. With the addition of scanning functions like priority scan, dual watch scan, follow-me scan and talk around scan the VX-2000 provide tools for complete control of your communications.
Just as the portable radios from Vertex the mobile VX- range offers ARTS™, a feature that informs the user if the radio loses connection with other ARTS™ devices allowing the user to move back in range.
