About Motorola ST7000
For customer-facing two-way radio users style can be as important as functionality. With the ST7000 Motorola provides a stylish digital radio with a unique intuitive interface that easily blends into the user’s environment and their image.
Despite the seemingly short antenna the new radio provides high quality radio performance, thanks to the antenna being mostly integrated in the design. The screen has also been integrated by placing light emitting diodes (OLED) “behind” the plastic cover. This enables a more shock resistant display that also consumes less energy. In fact, the unit has an operational time of up to 19 hours under normal use, despite its small size.
The unique screen combined with the tactile buttons and touch functionality results in a truly intuitive and useable TETRA radio. The device also offers haptic feedback that simulates the feeling of physical buttons.
Just like the other radios based on Motorolas latest TETRA platform the ST7000 has an open speaker port and automatic gain control. Together with 1,8W of transmission power and best-in-class receiver performance this delivers optimised audio quality regardless of situation.
For accessories the ST7000 offers Bluetooth for wireless connection, 3.5 mm audio jack for “consumer equipment” and a USB-C port for universal charging and data transfer.
And as always for Motorola radios the device fulfils or surpasses the requirements of MIL-STD and Motorola ALT.
