Vertex Standard VX-231 covers multiple bands, offers several signalling features and a functional design. These capabilities together with the radios affordability ensures a good return on investment.
With the radios compact design and light weight it does not get in the way on jobs. Despite this it packs a powerful Li-Ion battery that provides nine hours of battery life.
Contrary to most radios that offer one or two scanning options the VX-231 provide 4 different methods for increases flexibility. (Priority, Dual Watch, Follow me, Talk around).
With the feature Auto-Range Transpond System (ARTS™) Vertex provides a way for radios to stay within range. If the radio has been out of reach from other ARTS™ equipped devices for more than two minutes it will announce this, allowing the user to move back in range.
