Slim digital two-way radio in an updated edition
Just like its predecessor Motorola SL4000e is barely larger than a smartphone and therefore one of the smallest two-way radios on the market.
The slim design makes it ideal for office workers in need of a two-way radio or for discrete communications for venues, casinos or within hospitality.
Efficient noise cancelling and capable speakers ensure that your voice is heard, even in loud environments. The increased output power of 3W combined with optimised receiver sensitivity provides up to eight percent longer range.
By setting the built-in Bluetooth module (4.0) as ”always visible” it can be used for indoor location tracking. With this setting the radio will be visible to Bluetooth-beacons that can forward the location to a command centre. Naturally it also supports wireless headsets as well as bar code scanners, etc.
Wireless programming and radio management is now easier thanks to integrated Wi-Fi. A feature possibly even more useful with future data heavy applications. Thanks to the radios built-in accelerometer the Man Down feature is no available as a software option.
The graphical interface is developed to support job ticketing while features like Voice Announcement and text-to-speech enables hand-free operations.
